DSL This is a post to brag to my friends about the wonders of having DSL. I think that I am the only one of my friends that has it. Everyone else has some form of dial-up. It is sad, I will go over to their houses and use their internet and complain when it takes forever!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I'm always listening to them complaining about their internet. So this is why when I complain about verizon being down or slow or something, they don't feel sorry for me at all. Which is sad since I feel for them for being stuck with cheap internet. Gloating in fun. Ha ha! I have DSL which is fast. I don't have to wait five minutes for a page to download. Ok their internet isn't that slow but still... I love ya guys!!!!!!!!!!! An unknown Hobby Useless Blob that I got because of my friend Becca. Yesterday I got my sword. Its very cool. I've wanted a sword since I went to Renaissance faire last year. Maybe it was before that. I've always liked them. Or at least since I was old enough to read books about them I've liked them. It would be lots of fun to learn to use a sword. I however don't have the right kind of sword to fight with. It has a stainless steel blade that would shatter if I fought with it. The plastic toy swords that you can get at Toys's R Us.(the r is supposed to be backwards, I however don't have a backwards R on my keyboard.) If you put a hanger or a stick inside them they last along time and really hurt. To learn the proper moves would be awesome. I could teach my little brothers, and then we could fence. It would be really cool. I not only like swords, but knives and bows. My little brother is deadly with his bow. He made this cardboard Orc, and it has holes all over it. Its amazing. If I had a bow big enough I would practice shooting daily. For people who don't know me, I'm a Ren Faire geek. I actually would be one of the actors at the Gig Harbor Ren Faire this year but my lifes too full. I don't have time to get my costume ready on top of all the meetings I'd have to attend. I tried, but we missed two meetings in a row and they where the come or you arn't an actor meetings. Ren Faire is probably where I got really excited about weapons. Our encampment was right across from Ravens World, which was a company that sold weapons and Leather outfits and anything you could want. It was really cool. The Guild Master had swords and knew how to use them. He would have taught us but the faire owner wanted people to take his class so we weren't allowed. It would have been fun to have a sword demonstration in our encampment. So to all the people who go the Ren Faire out there, Watch out Cause I'LL BE BACK NEXT YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!! The first This is the first entry. I have no idea why I started one of these, other than the fact that most of my friends have one. I enjoy reading their entries, and have thought many times that if I had one, I would read theirs more often. My cat, Midnight, named by my little brother (its his cat, he gets to do all the dirty work) is evil. Amazingly he hasn't done anything crazy or evil lately, but I think its because his nice twin has come out of hiding and has locked our cat up. Anyway, my cat is sitting next to me, and I'm really hoping he can't read, cause their is no telling what he might do. He is cleaning himself, and is looking very cute. This is another problem. When he is looking cute, there is a chance he might try and crawl in my lap. He also might turn on me. The more cats that are like him the more dangerous working on the computer becomes. Our old cat, who died of cancer would often crawl on my moms lap at midnight, or two in the morning or whenever she would be working and sit on the keyboard and drool. After many attempts of getting her off, my mom would finally give in. I've often wondered about the persistence of cats, or animals in general. They know that they could get in trouble for some of the things that they do, but yet they insist on doing it. Its just something to think about. Today my brother, (different one, I have three) and I took our dogs on a walk. Since our dogs don't get out much, they where very excited. They behaved very well to how they usually behave. The whole walk they where staying next to us, eager to go on wondering where we would go. I decided to walk the trail that goes to Taylor park. I actually didn't go in the park, just passed it. I had considered calling upon my friends grandparents, who are very nice, but since I had the dogs with me decided not to. The whole time we where walking, Tippy my dog was marking her territory. I have yet to figure out why they do this. Is it to convey a message to other dogs that "this spot, right where i peed is MINE!" ? Or is it a friendly message saying hi! I stopped here to say Hi!" ? What would it take to uncover these mysteries? Nothing short of becoming a dog or a cat or another animal yourself. Since this is at present impossible we shall just be stuck in the dark until science improves enough to uncover all the unsolved mysteries of the world. |
